Chefchaouen - in the Rif Mountains
Mountain life in the Rif is probably as close to sustainable as you are likely to find anywhere, and it is certainly the closest place to Europe that such a way of life exists.
We invite you to take a taste of Africa by joining us at the walled city of Chefchaouen, situated high in the Rif mountain range. The town is truly a special place, not only for sustainability, or the world renowned pollution free atmosphere (no cars and no industry) or for the unique character of its architecture, but most of all for the hospitality of the locals (many of whom speak English, Spanish, French and Arabic with fluency!)
We offer a 4-day 'Mini Break' for those who would like to see sustainable farming, and experience the exhilaration of trekking in the foothills of the Rif mountain range.
